One of the highlights of our business occurred the summer of 2010.  It was an adoption case assignment to identify and locate a daughter 45 years after birth.  Our client’s parents forced her to give up the child when she was 15, and at this stage in life, she wanted to know what happened to her little girl.  What kind of life does she have?  Where does she live?  Would she be willing to meet?  Having only a first name and birth date, Barbara Rudd, Director of Research & Missing Persons, located the woman in another state and made initial contact.  Mother and daughter met three weeks later in a highly emotional and tender reunion.  We scheduled it for them at a local restaurant, and by the time the three hour meeting ended, there wasn’t a dry eye in the entire place.  We were thanked with a huge bouquet of flowers and the following heart-warming note.
